$200B: 13th Round of Product Exclusions from China

On May 8, 2020, the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) published Federal Register (FR) Notice 85 FR 27489 announcing the decision to grant the 13th round of certain requested exclusions from the Section 301 duty related to goods from China ($200B Action – Tranche 3).

The exclusions cover 146 ten-digit tariff subheadings and product descriptions.

The exclusion cover certain 146 product descriptions and includes, but are not limited to certain faucets, lamps, and furniture. that classified under HTSUS Chapters 07, 11, 12, 21, 28, 29, 32, 34, 38, 39, 40, 42, 44, 48, 52, 68, 69, 70, 73, 82, 83, 84, 85, 87, 90 and 94 classifications that are currently subject to Section 301 Tranche 3.

The exclusions are products specify, the importer should consult with your broker prior to claiming the Section 301 duty exemption.
