On August 6, 2020, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued a notice extending specific Section 301 List 3 exclusions. These extensions include 245 product exclusions from various List 3 rounds , all originally scheduled to expire on August 7, 2020.
These exclusions will be valid from August 7, 2020, through December 31, 2020. They can be claimed under 9903.88.56. U.S. Customs and Border Protection will issue entry guidance and implementation details. There will likely be a delay as CBP needs time to implement the change and make 9903.88.56 effective in their system as a new exclusion.
